About Maureen
Maureen felt an "aha" moment while reading a personal training magazine in 2004, and realized she was gaining more weight and losing her fitness due to "life": her busy schedule, long drive to the gym (a great excuse not to go), and eating most calories at dinner.
She spent that year studying Pilates and Personal Training formats, and created her own workout style: weight lifting with a mind-body feel and focus. She lost 20lbs and two clothing sizes as a result of the fitness, and friends requested that she teach them her "recipe"."BenchFit" was formatted for instruction, and trademarked with the 20 exercise workout and custom wooden exercise bench.
